A message from The First Tee of the Inland NW Executive Director
Welcome to the Summer Season and Thank You for being a part of the Inland Northwest Golf Foundation community and The First Tee of the Inland Northwest! I’m so excited to join this community as the Executive Director and continue to grow the game of golf in the Inland Northwest, as well as providing high quality programming and opportunities for the kids who participate in The First Tee program.
Golf has been a big part of my life since the age of 3, and it has provided me with so many friends and opportunities in life that it is important for me to pass that on to my own kids and the community where I live. I’m excited to start growing partnerships with families, golf courses, and organizations in the Inland Northwest to continue to improve our programming, instruction, and golf opportunities for the great kids that are a part of The First Tee. The life skills that our program provides to kids are so important today, and the mentorship that all of us provide to kids is so critical to their growth and future success.
The First Tee program is in a great position to really make a larger impact on kids and the golf community in the next several years, but it’s going to take a village. We are all going to need to come together to provide the best possible experience for our kids, so I’m asking for your help as volunteers, advocates for the program, and financial supporters to help make our chapter grow and thrive!
Respect, Courtesy, Judgment, Confidence, Sportsmanship, Responsibility, Honesty, Integrity, and Perseverance are traits that we all need to cultivate in our lives, and The First Tee has been impacting kids with these for 20 years! I’m so happy to be a part of continuing to build on the success of this program in the next 20 years.
Thank you so much for your support, and I will see you at the golf course!
Sincerely,
Todd Sturgis
